Painting engages creation and self-exploration as I experiment with the process.  Sensitive line making and spontaneous, direct brushstrokes mark my art-making, alternating between dark and light, equine and nonobjective compositions.  Acrylic paint is applied by myriad means to raw unprimed canvas, with charcoal creating the mark.  Large areas of transparent, stained passages join in with thick areas. I converse with my art while producing it, responding intuitively.  Art-making aligns me and life.  My art echoes my true voice.
